自2020年起，吕奖加强聚焦本地慈善工作，透过与香港不同伙伴的合作，对本地社区、尤其是教育与青年发展作出支持。

公益志业
The LUI Che Woo Prize honours individuals or organisations, active in any part of the world, whose outstanding achievements fall into one of the three Prize categories: Sustainability, Welfare Betterment and Positive Energy. Each awardee receives a cash award of HK$20 million to support their future work.
The Lui Prize has donated substantial sums of money to build prestigious new facilities at the Mainland’s Jiaotong, Tsinghua and Peking universities, and sponsors a volunteer programme at Hong Kong’s Palace Museum.
The Lui Prize works together with partners in Hong Kong on programmes that benefit local communities, particularly in the fields of education and youth development.

Lui Che Woo Science Park at Jiaotong University 简体
Located in Zhangjiang, Lui Che Woo Science Park will be key for Shanghai Jiao Tong University as it actively plays a part in constructing a national science centre in the area, and from which to build a world-class research and development base by promoting technological innovation and extensive integration with economic and social development, thus further strengthening China's international presence and influence in relevant fields.
LUI Che Woo Prize – Prize Introduction
The LUI Che Woo Prize is the first of its kind of international cross-sector award, honouring and recognising individuals or organisations who have selflessly contributed to world civilisation with words and deeds. Aspired to sow seeds of benevolence, the LUI Che Woo Prize does not only recognise the awardees’ past accomplishments but also encourages them to keep up their momentum and inspire others to build a better world together.
Global Citizenship at Home Programme 简体
The struggle to mitigate, and hopefully someday reverse, the devastating impact of climate change promises to be a long and arduous one. It is therefore vital that we start preparing the next generation of leaders who will steer Hong Kong through a future based on sustainability. Recognising this pressing need, the LUI Che Woo Prize supported University of Hong Kong’s Faculty of Social Science's Global Citizenship at Home Programme for senior students, as they prepared to launch their careers. Through workshops and discussions, the programme helped deepen the students’ understanding of sustainability goals within a local context, and of the relationship between sustainability and broader social, political and environmental issues.
