Abstract of the Lecture

Climate change is a common challenge to mankind as well as a major issue relating to sustainable development. After years of negotiations, the Paris Agreement, which was concluded reached at the end of 2015, has constructed a widely participated, fair and reasonable, collaborative and win-win global climate governance system. At present, the global climate governance process faces new opportunities and challenges, it requires steadfast confidence of different parties to implement the Paris Agreement. As a responsible and large developing country, China has and will continue to take active action to address climate change and make more significant contributions to global green, low-carbon development.
